Weekly! UQ Holder 20

Hey! It's this week's UQ Holder fix! I'm not sure about it being this week's UQ Holder or last week. Feels like this was the chapter for last week. Whatever. Get on with it, right?

More fan-service for those who didn't have enough of Karin-san's bathroom scene with that uhh.. Chinese guy. Yay for more fan-service (BTW, without areola and nipples, girls look like mannequins. Seriously.

Summary: From where we left off, Kuroumaru is in a state where her torso and her legs are separated. Ruki (the main kid from the slums) talks to her but he can't do anything when Kuroumaru was impaled by two street signs for good measure (according to Werewolf-san.) Just as Ruki was running away, Werewolf-san was preparing to hold Kuroumaru in ice with the help of a magic app (Steve, we know what you're gonna say.) As Werewolf-san was ready to cast the magic, Ruki stands in his way to protect the badly injured Kuroumaru and Touta in a douchebag way (in a "Come at me bro!" way.)

Meanwhile, Karin-san continues to struggle with Chang Xingzai's submissive attacks. She had a chance but she was held back by Chang's vectors ala Elfen Lied. He reveals himself to be a shadow user (like Shikimaru from Naruto) and with that power, he controls all the puppets that attacked the Holder members. We see her get stabbed and as Chang was enjoying his torture session, he decides to tells us readers a story:

Once upon a time, a girl was suspected to be a witch and was tortured endless. The village leader judge her to be executed by burning at a stake. She survives without any scratches. Rumors started spreading about the girl being the "Saint of Steel" but then, the girl suddenly disappeared without a trace. The only thing anyone remembers is that she went and walked away with a little girl.

Just when Karin-san was about to get cornered, a surge of power went through and she kicked Chang right in the family jewels. She has escaped the shadow hands and transforms into her higher form. Karin-san was glowing and Chang explained it to be the "Nimbus Holy Light." She proceeded to finish him off with a "Holy Fist" through his gut and consecutive kicks (ala Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat) until Chang was left, barely living.

Is he a model for denim jeans?

Likes: Karin's backstory. More backstory please! Karin's story is a hard one, since she can still feel pain, all of that torture and burns are terrible. Ouch! Chang also said something about Karin being "cursed" with that kind of immortality.

The only thing that's missing is the diarrhea scream and gelled hair!

Dislikes: Ruki trying to be all heroic in a douchebag way. Props to him for having big balls to defend our main characters but come on, did you really have to be all "Come at me bro!" Probably the translator listening to rap music or something that he/she came up with that sentence. Still looks cool though!

Quirks: Kuroumaru's touching moment with Touta. Just look at the image below.

I just wish she would turn into a girl soon...

Predictions: What I think will happen is that Ruki will become a vampire because he and Touta telepathically communicated with each other. He told Ruki about his immortality and made him drink Touta's blood. That's far-fetched so I'll stick with Karin-san saving our MCs because she's a badass now. White-haired Karin-san? Yes PLEASE!

I'm really excited for the next chapter. Hopefully Touta overcomes the seal to protect his friend! Also hoping that Ruki turns out into a real bad-ass martial artist that can do faster instant movements than Werewolf-san!
