Previously on: Fuuka 1: Yuu Haruna--a teenage boy who loves to post on a certain SN (Social Network)-- encounters Fuuka Akitsuki after bumping into her in the middle of the street. They meet again after Yuu talks to a teacher about his transfer. Two times has he been caught looking like a pervert who secretly takes pictures of women and both times, his phones were thrown. Both become friendly with each other after Yuu tries to "save" Fuuka from what seems to be like rape--which turns out, is just a recruitment for the track team of the school. Summary: Summer, a really hot time in Japan and thus we are served with sisterly fan-service! Hibiki, Chitose and Maya are all half naked because of the summer heat. They all are ordering Yuu around and teasing him because he's the only boy in the family. Hibiki asks him to get her an ice cream, Chitose asks about her t-shirt and Maya tells Yuu about his turn to take a bath. This would've been a win...
Sister # 2
Monday comes, his first day as a transfer student and he introduces himself in a really soft way so his classmates were teasing him that he should speak louder. Surprisingly, Fuuka is one of Yuu's classmates and she teases him more just to get him to speak loudly. Yuu's classmates who are near him asks for his number but remembers that he forgot. He feels tense and it seems like his forcing himself just to be accepted immediately.
Sister # 3
After school, (I'm assuming here) the class president talks to Yuu about picking a club to be in. He then runs in a hurry to look at his SN account when suddenly, he gets yanked from the collar of his shirt. Fuuka grabs Yuu's hand to go somewhere. This somewhere is shop where they sell phone straps. The shop sells CDs and buying a CD gets you two free "Skip Usamune" but only if you are a couple. They then proceed to get the free straps but before they do, they must look like a couple. For the act to be effective, Fuuka decides that they should hold hands. Yuu becomes consumed with embarrassment that he could only touch Fuuka's finger. Enraged, Fuuka takes Yuu hand and holds it firmly like lovers do. Both of their faces turn beet red.

On the way home, Fuuka wanted to give Yuu the other strap. However, Yuu does not accept it and says that it feels unfair to pretend to be a couple just to get the free straps. Fuuka replies, "I wouldn't be so sure about that." He becomes confused with her choice of words. Later, she leaves and remarks that Yuu has big hands.

At home, Yuu reflects on Fuuka's words on why she doesn't need a phone. He thought about his phone usage denies him the freedom to connect with anyone intimately. We then end with a post that has an image of a girl asking whether Yuu remembers her.

Likes: Yuu and Fuuka's act as a couple. I feel goosebumps for some reason. I don't know. I get that a guy would really get so embarrassed but come on, if a girl says that you hold her hand, you grab it and hold on to it firmly. Don't go hover-hand on a girl because that just shows how you lack courage to take initiative. You'll look weak and less manly. As for Fuuka blushing, it's natural to see that kind of reaction from a girl. Ah... the love bugs are flying...

Dislikes: Yuu's deep reliance on his phone. I don't have a smartphone and I don't even use it for texting really. I only have the prepaid phones that have a keypad on it with a really tiny screen. I mainly use it for calling my family and my counselor but other than that, I don't really rely on it. I don't get the addiction people have with their phones. I mean, yeah you can access your SN accounts but you're discouraging encounters with other people by doing that. Yeah, you can go on the internet but making your world revolve around a device/SN is just sad. Yuu would have a much better time without his SN account.
Forcing oneself to fit in...
Quirks: Starting the chapter with sisterly fan-service. I'm not complaining but are you really gonna go half-naked around the house because of the heat? No. Even if it was meant for teasing, you wouldn't go walking around the house in your underwear. Wearing a tank top and short shorts would be enough.
Props to those who draw fan-service though, they get better at drawing those fluffy, flowery designs on lingerie!

Predictions: More episodic chapters! The plot hasn't been established yet and is still on the introductory phase so we'll just have to see. I hope I get to see more embarrassing moments staring Yuu. He's just the kind of guy that gets bullied a lot.
