Weekly! All you need is Kill 12, 13, 14 & 15: Engage; Boy & Girl; Morning Coffee; Killing Machines

The unity of the two loopers, leaves Rita awestruck. She talks with Keiji and plans on their attack. Just when  he thinks he could escape the loop, he loops back. Keiji does everything over again but now they grow closer, not as comrades but more like lovers. The day begins, Keiji sees another side of Rita when she was preparing their morning coffee. The day starts off good until the mimics attack the military base. They suit up and go to the battlefield with the intent of ending Keiji's loop.

Weekly Young Jump 19, 21-22, 23 & 24
Issue 20 didn't feature the series.

Yes, I've been skipping. I've been inactive for the last few days but I haven't on my youtube. If you want to check out my youtube channel and what I've been up to, then please click here. By the way, the Japanese titles for these chapters are (in order): 12: エンゲージ (Engēji); 13: ボーイ&ガール (Bōi & gāru); 14: モーニングコーヒー (Mōningukōhī); 15: キリングマシーンズ (Kiringumashīnzu)

Previously on: All you need is Kill 11: After escaping her loop, Rita kept killing mimics all over the world. She sees Private Kiriya and he tells her to meet somewhere alone. Keiji then confirms Rita's future question of "Is tea served free?" She begins to tear up knowing that she is not the sole respawner.

Spoiler Alert! If you are gonna read this post, please read the actual manga first!

Summary:
12: Keiji explains the writing on his hand while Rita stops her tears from falling. The day of deployment, Keiji goes on a mimic killing spree while waiting for the arrival of Rita. Both start their onslaught with their giant battle axes, leaving only remains of mimics lying on the ground. Before all this started, Rita told Keiji about the server/client relationship the mimics use to secure data of their chosen victim. Keiji aims for the server while Rita takes care of the backups. Just when Keiji had his hopes counting on this last kill, he wakes up back where he started. In his bed, holding a book, marking the number of loops he had gone through on his hand and it is 160.

I keep forgetting where the threshold is. This is a test.
13: Keiji restarts from the beginning, confessing to Rita which in turn made her cry in front of his comrades. Private Kiriya grabs Rita's hand and runs to the shore. They try to get familiar with each other through stories of lives past. Keiji and Rita go to the cafeteria and then had a pickled-plum eating contest. They seemed like a couple of kids trying to outdo each other and laugh at their stupidity. Night came and Keiji stayed at Rita's quarters, talking about their experiences. Is romance starting to grow for both of them?

Seriously though, crying is a serious turn on for some people.
14: Keiji wakes up in a familiar position except that this is not a respawn. He sees a Rita wearing her underwear, shining on a similar level as the rising sun. He then notices that Rita is making coffee in an odd way. She tells him about the process of making "morning coffee." Just when Keiji was about to taste the freshly brewed coffee, a mimic's spear-life projectile comes in to crash. Rita and Keiji hurry to suit up when they crash into Shasta. Rita instructs her to lock herself up in the sky lounge and to not open to anyone but to Rita and Keiji.

I do have ice cream.
15: Yonabaru shows up to warn Keiji of the loosing battle against the mimics. Keiji tells him that he needs to do this because he needs to win THIS battle. Keiji becomes Rita's support since he's been observing Rita for a long time. They become an efficient killing machine (as the title says) but their first goal is to clear a path for the other soldiers. They do what they do best and start clearing out the herd of mimics and get the soldiers outside to fend them off. Two hours into the battle, both of them change their battery packs. Rita tells him that it's time to change targets, from the foot soldiers to the server. Keiji then begins to go near the server, chopping off it's antennae but what did Private Kiriya feel during that time? Did he successfully escape from the loop or did someone die?

This is your new nickname
Likes: The crying Rita. This is a forgotten side of Rita. The vulnerable and fragile Rita. She's built herself up to be this strong warrior that will stand against a hundred mimics but no matter how strong you are on the outside, your emotions will still be one of your weak point. She's just so cute! Like a kid shedding tears of happiness!

The romance building up? I think that there is a romance connecting the two now. I don't know about Rita but I just know that Keiji has fallen for this cute girl. Rita also showing her most vulnerable side (just wearing underwear) is a sign that she feels really close to Keiji. I wish that they end up together but in the back of my mind, I have this feeling that Rita or Keiji will die in the end. That they won't be a couple for long. I hope I'm wrong and I hope that it doesn't end that badly.

No you will not get laid. Desperation is the key to failure.
Keiji knowing all of Rita's moves. I don't know, I just feel like this is just something I need to mention because both of them are in the "BADASS" level.

Dislikes: The series feels like it's on it's last leg. I do hope that we get more. I don't want it to end so early and just have two tankobon's. I want it at least to be 5 tankobon's in length.

The long awaited fan-service chapter.
Shasta staying at the sky lounge. When I read that chapter, I just can't help but think that she's gonna be dead when Rita comes to get her. Sure, it's much safer there but those mimic projectiles are long and durable, they also pierced through a thick glass. I just hope she's safe.

and the infamous Hard Drive comes back in!
Quirks: Yonabaru getting told by Keiji. What? That was funny! Keiji just looked like the devil for a second.

No chance.
I have the raw chapters on my hard drive and I want to translate them but that I'm afraid it will be translated by 'series translators' first so I'll just look at it for now and just guess what they are trying to say. Anyway, aside from that, I really need to catch up with my other series. As of now, I'm trying to catch up with this series. I still have UQ Holder to catch up on and I'm pretty sure I'm 10 chapters behind that series. Then I have Fuuka which is only chapter 17 and I was just on chapter 11 last time I reviewed it.

Did the joke connect?
Thanks for reading and I do hope you come back because I'll try to be more active in my blog this time until the next anime season comes up because by then, I'll be busy writing anime recaps, left and right. Ganbarre, Furanshisu!!! Ja ne!
