Weekly! MonsterxMonster

Oooh, it’s Shingeki no Kyojin but instead of kyojin, we have Kemono which translates to beasts, believe it or not. Then after a few pages, there were beast hunters who hunt beasts to sell on the market because ivory and other materials can be taken from beasts. Imagine a Rhino horn the size of the whole Rhino itself. After it hooked me like a teenage boy looking at a porn mag only to find that the models were trannies, the series showed it’s true colors, it’s about a NEET trying to have a peaceful, couch-potato (but in this case, a bed-potato) life but still wants to earn money and grope all the tits in the world.

From what I can collect, this is Tobita Nikiichi's debut series. I'm worried that this series would end up being crappy due to the unclear plot. Let's just hope that it goes well because it looks promising.

Spoiler Alert! If you are gonna read this post, please read the actual manga first!
Summary: Man is not the top of the food chain anymore; it is the beasts that rule the land in this world. However, after gathering up the courage to fight against these monsters, they tried to slay them and that turned into hunting. The monsters, if sold on the market fetch a high price because rich fuckers want to hang a stuffed beast head on their mansions. Pirating became the next big thing to happen since Captain Roger was executed and…. Wait a second! I have the wrong series here.

Humans were the ones who were hunted...
Ahem, continuing from where I left off, hunting became widespread and those who were hunters where called “Bringers” as they bring priceless monster remains. Enter nameless NEET character (which I will call Kei because he reminds me of Kurono Kei from Gantz) who lazes around his parent’s house.

Only pick your nose when there's actual content.
His life began taking a slight turn when he met Wence Courage (U-E-N-Su Ku-Rā-Ju). Wence is the famous 18 year old hunter who fell a huge beast—much like Nosferatu Zodd in his real form—by himself. They enter a meido-kissaten-style bar but they could not pay the price of their drinks. One thing led to another and the abusers where put to justice by Wence. The turn started when he was inspired by Wence’s words, which I will now speak:
All I do is win, win, win no matter what
Got money on mind, I can never get enough
And every time I step up in the building
Everybody hands go up
And they stay there, and they say "yeah," and they stay there
Up, down, up, down, up, down
'Cause all I do is win, win, win
And if you goin' in, put your hands in the air, make 'em stay there.
Winning.
That’s basically what he said and Kei was inspired to do the unthinkable but since he’s a lazy bastard, he looks forward to more downtime because he’ll lock himself up in his room like the modern teenage boy.

It's better if you just permanently stick that finger in your nose. Seriously.
Likes: The art is some quality shit but I’m expecting that to drop when serialization starts. The art is on par with Kingdom. Though I’m really comparing this to Berserk because of the giant-ass monsters, I can’t compare it because it’s more of a manga instead of a French comic. I feel some French (or at least European) vibe from Berserk and I don’t get that with this. It’s more like Kingdom really, though I haven’t read Kingdom because I hate Chinese history. I’m not racist.

Fantasia Arc
The world is like Naruto with people having hoodie jackets, newspaper, maid cafes and whatnot. It’s basically a mix of the modern world and a dark fantasy world set in medieval times. I thought it was like the continuation of Berserk because this is basically the Fantasia arc with all the monsters that live in fantasy come alive and eat/kill humans. Maybe that’s what it is… a Berserk side story, it even has the same humor where Kei is like Puck, they both just want to take it easy and sleep the day away.

The yandere mom. Why did I say that? Because “Yandere.”

It's Serpico's sword...
Before I forget, it did feel like Shingeki no Kyojin at first because “Beasts” ruled the world for hundreds of years and humans are no longer the top of the food chain. Whoever reads this first will think that this is a Shingeki no Kyojin ripoff and I will tell you now, IT’S NOT. It’s more like Gantz because the main character is a self-centered asshole who wants to fuck. I’m MangaBlog100, nice to meet you. Wait, this isn’t about me… The main character still doesn’t have a name yet so we’ll have to wait until May 24th for the proper first chapter of this series.

DEKKAI!
Dislikes: It's a dark fantasy series at first then it became a medieval “Welcome to the N.H.K..” Yes, because it’s a mild case of Hikikomori.

Quirks: Please don’t pick your nose that often. It reminds me a lot of laid back comedy shounen manga like “Wagatsuma wa Ore no Yome” and “GTO Great Teacher Onizuka.”

MORE COLOR PAGES!
Well, that’s all I have to say about this series as of now since this is a one-shot a.k.a. chapter 0. I liked it and I’ve decided to pick this series up for my Weekly! Post and this will solely be on youtube channel and nowhere else. Ja ne, yuujin!

EDIT: I posted it here because I'm lazy to put out new content so why not dump all the scripts I have here? Oh yeah, don't worry about the x-rated stuff I said on the video for this series. Okay? Okay!
