One-Shot!: 30-sai, Shojo OL (30歳 処女 OL) by Ruruko

Since I'm doing a lot of Weekly! and Monthly! posts, I thought that it's time to give one-shots a place here. I've read two one-shots this year and a ton more titles out there to choose from to review. I'll do these one-shots like my normal volume reviews. Expect more of these to be posted, Weekly! and Monthly! posts will still be on time (here's to hoping I do finish them on time!) Okay, more on the story!

Turnoffs, all of us have them. Celebrities, Politicians, Blue-collar job workers, Students, everyone has a turnoff. What if, this turnoff was the sole reason for you not having a long lasting relationship? Well, that is the story of our 30 year old main character; Hinako. Her turnoff? She's a neat-freak with a highly damaging reflex movements whenever she gets touched the wrong way. Enough about turnoffs, let's get started with the story!

Spoiler Alert! If you are gonna read this post, please read the actual manga first!

Warning! This one-shot contains nudity and mature themes. Also a very detailed description of a sex scene will be described as part of the summary. Do not go beyond this point if you are under 18.

Review: pink

It's not the color, it's the manga. It's really awful and bittersweet. It's like drinking coffee, it's really bitter but over time, cup after cup, you get really used to it but then you realize, your tastes have changed.

Warning! This title contains nudity, sex scenes and adult themes.

Vertical Inc. said it perfectly, "Published at the zenith of the Bubble era, women's comics legend Kyoko Okazaki's representative work captures... the spirit of the times." It is the spirit of the times where people were spending lavishly and didn't care about the future. This is like seeing Japan back in the late 1980s.

Manga in the Mail: 21

This is a 2013 release by Vertical. Have you guessed it? Okay, the mangaka's other work came out earlier than this one. Guessed it yet? No? Dammit! It's a color! That's it! No more guessing!

It's PINK! IT'S PINK! PINK! It's by Kyoko Okazaki who is a well known josei mangaka. I'm hoping it's funny with dark tones to enhance the "Oooh! It's controversial!" reading theme I'll have when I read this. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Manga in the Mail: 16

I like drama. Well, the kind of drama that makes you pity a character for his/her situation. Combine my liking for drama with my fascination with psychology, specifically, the autism spectrum disorder. I am sincerely curious about the things that go into an autistic child's mind.

Review: Kingyo Used Books Volume 1

"Why would there be manga at a goldfish store?" - one of the unique characters. (Kingyo = Goldfish) So yeah. A used bookstore that only sells manga and magazines that are solely for manga. What story is there to be told about that you say? A lot.

So, I hope by now you know that uhm... I... you.... me and you... I know we have a lot in common so uhm... if you want to maybe...
